How do I appear after default is entered against me?
Generally, the respondent has 10 days after a judgment of default has been entered by the clerk of the court to respond before the judgment goes into effect. Respondents who have never received paperwork or feel they have other issues that may change this timeline may want to speak with an attorney to review the specifics of their case.
