What happens if I am pulled over and do not have car insurance?

If you get pulled over and do not have car insurance, your license and license plate will be suspended by the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD).  If you are found responsible (or guilty) of driving without insurance, you will also owe:

  • First Offense - $968.30
  • Second Offense - $1425.80
  • Third Offense - $1883.30
